The following represents a summary of the type of engagements on which we have worked.

SECTION 8 AND PUBLIC HOUSING:
- Member of the AEW financial advisory team to HUD/OMHAR for Section 8 Restructuring
- Teaming partner for housing finance agencies and private entities serving as Participating Administrative Entities for Mark-to-Market
- With Coopers & Lybrand, carried out an assessment for the HUD Secretary of the performance of the Detroit Housing Authority under a HUD Memo of Agreement
- Carried out extensive work for the Fall River (MA) Housing Authority, including the preparation of the first elderly-only allocation plan approved in Massachusetts
- As part of a team, developed a revitalization plan for a significant project owned by the Lowell (MA) Housing Authority
- Retained by Standard & Poor's of New York to assist them in developing and marketing a national evaluation product focused on public housing authorities, with the goal of bringing significant sources of private capital into the public housing system
- Retained by a nonprofit client to help establish partnerships with PHAs for the development of affordable assisted living- Retained by the Fitchburg (MA) Housing Authority for the planning of the substantial rehabilitation of a Federal elderly development- Retained by the Newton (MA) Housing Authority for the development of a new construction project for the elderly on excess land at a Federally-financed public housing developmentOTHER ASSISTED HOUSING/PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
- Assisted several housing finance agencies (HFAs) with organizational issues
- Retained by the Department of Defense to provide advice and guidance relative to new privatized housing efforts
- With PricewaterhouseCoopers, assisted HUD/FHA with new product development
- With Coopers & Lybrand, assisted HUD/FHA in developing a new business strategic plan and in planning for a national reorganization
- For the City of Boston, the Archdiocese and the Rental Housing Association, provided policy evaluation and other assistance, leading to the publication of major policy and action reports.
- With Northeastern University's Center for Urban and Regional Policy, founded the World Class Housing Collaborative
- For the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, retained to develop an Employer-Assisted Housing initiative
- For the AFL/CIO Housing Investment Trust, retained to assist with strategic planning and program/policy initiatives
- For Combined Jewish Philanthropies, retained to assist in strategic planning and implementation of housing for people with disabilities in the Jewish community.
- Co-chaired and co-authored the Report of the widely-respected Commonwealth Housing Task Force, leading to the passage of Massachusetts Chapter 40R, Smart Growth Zoning and Housing Production in June, 2004.- Retained by a wide range of clients to assess the financial and development feasibility of affordable, mixed-income, commercial and assisted living proposals- Retained by a wide range of non-profit and for-profit developers to assist in the financing and funding of low-income housing tax-credit developments throughout Massachusetts- Co-authored the Massachusetts Workforce Housing Trust Fund program, passed as part of the Economic Development bill in 2016- Retained by the Lynn Housing and Neighborhood Development Agency to assist in the planning of a rehabilitation project to benefit veterans.

-Provided consulting advice and guidance on the planning and passage of smart growth zoning districts under Chapter 40R.

-Provided advice and guidance to a nonprofit client on development of a commercial building assisted by New Markets Tax Credits

- Carried out program and operational evaluation for several nonprofit clients
- Provide ongoing advice and guidance to a wide range of developers relative to the planning of various housing initiatives
- Provide ongoing liaison between companies serving the affordable housing industry and potential users of their services

-Provided advice and guidance to both nonprofit and for-profit clients on the planning and development of affordable and mixed-income housing utilizing the low-income housing tax credit program and many other programs of housing subsidy.
