We are very pleased to announce that Eleanor White, President of Housing Partners, Inc. began her term as Chairman of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board in February, 2009.  With Executive Director Greg Vasil, Eleanor will direct all activities of the board. 

We are also pleased to announce that Eleanor has joined the founding Board of the School of Social Science, Urban Affairs, and Public Policy at Northeastern University at the invitation of founding Dean, Barry Bluestone and Northeastern President Joseph Aoun.

Eleanor will be exploring ways that GBREB and the new school at Northeastern can partner with colleagues in the fields of housing and community development.  We welcome suggestions!

Housing Partners, Inc. is pleased to announce that, as the result of a competitive process, it has been selected  by the MA Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) as a pre-approved consultant for the Gateways Plus program.  With this designation, communities implementing Gateways Plus programs can select HPI as their planning consultant without the need for a full-blown RFP process. 

And Eleanor White has been appointed by Governor Deval Patrick as Chair of the Multifamily Housing Advisory Committee to MassHousing.  In this capacity, she and her colleagues on the Committee will provide advice and guidance to MassHousing and the Governor on the operations of the agency.
